Clean and easy with minimal load times for media. That's all I ask for from a gaming blog and Games Radar delivers in spades. All the latest news and reviews plus an excellent area dedicated solely to gaming cheats and FAQS make this a regular stop on my daily tour of gaming sites. This was a real go-to site for me while playing FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS and the time online was very well spent, pointing me in the direction of a host of weapons and unlockables that made my gaming experience all the more enjoyable and worthwhile.

The worlds of gaming and filmed entertainment are converging more and more and nobody understands the convergence than Ben Fritz. I’ve been reading his stuff since he was at Variety and he’s given the LA Times Company Town blog a very smart dose of gaming industry analysis, all while retaining the passion that made him a fan in the first place. I find I re-Tweet Ben Fritz more than anyone else these days.

I was turned onto this site several years ago by one of my oldest friends who was working as a video game programmer at the time and never stopped going back. Heartless_ Gamer has always covered a wide variety of games across the entire spectrum while mixing in personal stories and other geeky recommendations. Add in a healthy dose of gaming business news and analysis and I'm in gamer heaven.

I’m a sucker for business analysis in any form of entertainment and the business side of gaming is constantly fascinating to me. Christopher Grant is one of the best I’ve seen in this space, with a ton of experience to back it up. He can go inside the numbers in a clear, concise and engaging way and understands the long view at a time where gaming is evolving faster than ever.

I can't say enough about how important ease of use and simplicity of design matter to me online, especially when it comes to geek sites. That's why I have a ton of appreciation for Pop Culture Shock. Games, movies, comics and geek life in possibly the easiest interface you'll find online. If you're looking for a quick scan of the latest headlines or deeper coverage of the worlds you love I can't recommend this site enough.

It's hard to ignore Destructoid, a site I find myself checking several times a day in order to get the latest updates. The site has generated a loyal following with gamers via its clean, easy to digest format (a huge plus in my book) and a wide range of coverage. While I'm a console gamer primarily I love being able to keep up with the latest in PC and app-based gaming news as well and find that this site is the one of the best at serving a broad audience.

I actually stumbled onto Tony’s site when I was searching for available URL’s in the gaming space and now go back often. They always have clean and concise release schedules for new games, which is a plus in my book these days. A good site for gamers that tend to lean towards XBOX360, which is generally my go-to console. I like the site enough to forgive Tony his Ohio State fandom. ;)

Rossignol’s site is PC gaming obsessed and PC gaming only and the staff own it to an almost amusingly militant level. He’s also smart and insightful and knows the space inside and out. While you’re at it check out his book, “This Gaming Life,” a look at the cultural impact and evolution of gaming.

The Warcraft phenomenon never ceases to amaze and I've come to appreciate the work of the Pugnacious Priest (though shouldn't it be Priestess?) for covering the world both inside and outside the game. Where else can I find character improvement tips, Charlie Sheen mods and Warcraft-inspired Etsy gear in the same place? A great place for both hardcore WOW fans and those curious about Blizzard's massive franchise.
